Your question is somewhat complicated to answer. The only manner one  
could use to determine the velocity based upon the EIS and XRT data  
is difference measurements of the brightness variation in a sequence  
of images. This is possible with the XRT images as they are taken  
with sufficient cadence to resolve the evolution of the jet to  
approximately 200,000 km. The design of the EIS observations does not  
permit such a measurement in a straightforward manner and there is no  
doppler information in the EIS data as they were using the slots (not  
slits for line measurements). However, temperature estimates are  
possible within an error of 0.25 MK. This is a work in progress by  
Loraine and David Brooks.
