From mweber@head.cfa.harvard.edu Fri Jun 10 03:00:24 2005 Date: Fri, 10 Jun 2005 03:00:24 -0400 (EDT) From: Mark Weber To: Jonathan Cirtain Cc: Ed Deluca , Bill Podgorski , Jason Scott Subject: E2E 20050609B Science handoff discussion. Good morning, 1) Hara-san did some analysis with our 8x8 binned data. By averaging over radial annuli, he got a *very* smooth plot of the wings, and it looks good. 2) We stopped in the middle of the Mo-L filter transmissions. Take a look in my shift directory at the datafile_manipulation.txt file. At the bottom, I show how to use my code to get the peak values. The logbook has the table of exposure indices and actual durations. I am manually editing the results into the filt_peak_tbl.txt file, since that was more straightforward than writing code to automate it. 3) The "manipulation" text file explains some other code goodies I wrote. In particular, take a look at get_submap.pro. It is a way for us to extract sub-arrays without using that stupid cursorbox2.pro routine that is crashing xdisp_fits.pro. (Better late than never.) Good luck, Mark
