From mweber@head.cfa.harvard.edu Sun Jun 12 02:56:13 2005 Date: Sun, 12 Jun 2005 02:56:13 -0400 (EDT) From: Mark Weber To: Jonathan Cirtain Cc: Ed Deluca , Bill Podgorski , Jason Scott Subject: E2E 20050611B Science handoff discussion. Good morning, 1) Things are on track for your schedule this morning. You can expect to do the two "Hot case" sub-tests. Ed says they shouldn't take more than a few hours at most. 2) There was some sort of problem with the Chappell processing while we were taking the FOV-OF data. We had to wait for Chappell to come in and fix things, and then it took a while for the data to process. I will be doing the analysis tomorrow. However, the FOV-OF scans aren't immediately important because we didn't have time to find OF and take some Core PSF scans. Since no one told me there was a problem, I stumbled into it and froze xdisp_fits. I had to exit IDL in that window and restart, but I don't think that affects anything. 3) If you recall on the Mirror Gradient sub-test, we started by doing a Best Focus scan and polynomial fit. I made the plot into a .ps file and put it into your 20050611A directory. I also put there the two routines I used, and the textfile that describes how I used them. Feel free to move as you like. 4) We left the source at Cu-L. --Mark
