From mweber@head.cfa.harvard.edu Sun Jun 12 02:37:59 2005 Date: Sun, 12 Jun 2005 02:37:59 -0400 (EDT) From: Mark Weber To: Leon Golub , Ed Deluca , Jay Bookbinder , Jonathan Cirtain , Bill Podgorski Cc: Peter Cheimets , mario cosmo , Jason Scott Subject: E2E 20050611 Shift-B Science Report. Despite some delays, Shift-A was able to complete the Mirror Gradient sub-test. Analysis will be forthcoming. There was a transition to Shift-B, and the source was changed to Al-K. The Telescope Sensitivity sub-test was performed. Results are available on the Analysis webpage. In summary, the CCD response appears to be linear over the range of available exposure durations. For exposures of 10 sec or more, the thermal dark current is linear versus exposure duration. For shorter exposures, the dark current is effectively independent of exposure. This probably indicates domination of the readout noise. The source was then changed back to Cu-L, and the boresight was reset to the "original" position. The location of Best Focus was verified to have not moved significantly from when we were previously at the "original" alignment. We then ran the 1D FOV OF scans in pitch/yaw which are orthogonal to the ones taken yesterday. There was a hiccup in the data processing which caused a delay. All of the FOV OF scans were completed, but the science data was not available until the end of the shift. --Mark
