Giant Magnetic Loops

This XRT picture has been processed to emphasize the large magnetic loops over the limb of the Sun. These can be seen in the picture as weak, curved, brighter lanes above the dark disk of the Sun and the bright patch of the active region (intentionally saturated to bring out the weaker features in the image).

Note that this is a composite image from 30 single exposures
