Hinode recently spent a long time pointing at the north pole to perform helioseismology observations of the Sun's polar regions (HOP101). Due to multiple active regions on the disk, XRT took large field-of-view (2048x1024 and 2x2 binned) and low-cadence (2 or 5 minute) observations. This movie shows observations using the Ti-poly filter starting from September 18 and lasting about two days. Both the active regions near the east limb and on the disk were very active and produced lots of C-class flares. The active region complex near the disk center is composed of several NOAA active regions. Keywords: Pole, Flare Filters: Ti_poly |
