M2.5 Flare and Associated Eruption of 2011/06/07

This movie shows the M2.5 flare and associated eruption that occured on 2011/06/07 from NOAA active region 11226. The observations in each of the four panels are taken through filters of varying thickness. This allows for observations of the extended structure using thinner filters (upper panels) in conjunction with observations of the bright flare kernal using thicker filters (lower panels).
