After several weeks of very quiet sun, a group of new active regions has emerged. The left side of the image shows a series of bright regions with the catchy names of AR12562, AR12563, AR12564, and AR12565.
While there were no recorded flares over the duration of this movie, there was quite a bit of activity and motion. Most notably, there was a small jet eruption near the left limb beginning at 01:18. Several days later, beginning on July 16, AR12565 and its companion AR12567 (not quite visible yet in this movie) began producing a series of C-flares. These companion regions are the current active region target of observation for XRT.
