| XRT has the ability to automatically detect flares in its field of view. It can raise a flare trigger that is accessible by all 3 instruments onboard Hinode. Also, it can respond to the flare trigger by switching into a flare observation mode. The list below report the start and end times of all flare responses and all flare triggers. They are updated daily. Please note that the lists are built from information contained in Hinode housekeeping FITS files, which are generated a couple of days after the observations are taken, so you may notice a delay of a few days between the time the flare triggers happen and the time that they are first reported in the lists. |
