"Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" (movie)
Beginning on April 4th, Hinode pointed at sun center for almost an entire observation day. During this period XRT took synoptic long/short pairs in the Al/poly and Al/poly+Ti/poly filters with an average cadence of 7 minutes. Although the only active region on the Sun is indolent during these observations, the "quiet sun" areas seem to twinkle with a chipper liveliness. Many small but interesting events can be observed throughout this day, like the pair of crossed loops just above the western (right-hand) limb near the north polar crown. They appear at 08:05UT on the 5th of May and are completely gone by the next image taken at 08:12UT.
