Expanding loops and arcade (click image to see corresponding movie)

In this movie from 30 Jan 2010 we see expanding loops above a brightening and then dimming arcade southeast of Active Region 11041. The expanding loops followed by the arcade suggests a filament may have erupted from this active region. Keywords: CME, Filament, Loop Expansion Filters: Al_mesh |
