Classic Display of Coronal Loop-Jet Relationship (click on image for movie)

This movie shows AR 11131 as it approaches the limb on December 13, 2010, in the XRT Ti_poly filter. As the extended loops above the active region core continue to evolve, we can see a small jet forming at the footpoint on the right, and ejecting more plasma into the loops.
