Bright Point Eruption
An X-ray bright point on the west limb started to erupt around 10:54 UT on 2007 April 05. At the beginning of the eruption, we see some loop structures start to rise and expand. Several additional loops become involved behind the initial one, and by about 11:18 UT, a long set of overlying loops is visible, apparently developing into one large, thick loop. One end of this loop is at the erupting bright point region, and the other end seems to be located in a region behind the limb. Later on, another bright point appears at the other end of the long loop. What causes the eruption of this tiny bright point? How does it produce an effect over such a long distance from the initial eruption site?
