Thermal map (bright is hot, dark is cool) of the active region
observed with Hinode/XRT on 12 November 2006 obtained with a
combination of five XRT filters. This combination is able both to
optimize the quality of the signal and to yield diagnostics of the
coronal thermal structure. The active region appears highly thermally
structured. Very thin structures are visible around the center of the
active region and some on larger scale outwards. This kind of analysis
shows the high capabilities of the XRT to obtain fine diagnostics of
the coronal thermal structure.
