Limb Flare with CME (click image to see corresponding movie)

This movie shows a B-class flare on the limb, followed by expanding loops that are part of a CME. The AIA data shows a bubble like structure escaping from the limb - the early eruptive phase of this structure is clearly visible in the above XRT movie. Keywords: Flare, CME, Limb Filters: Ti_poly |
