Watch as these coronal loops get blasted by fast moving jets of plasma. On 9 January 2007, Hinode pointed to the east limb to watch an active region rotate onto the disk. While this region slowly rotates into view, an eruption happens behind the limb and two jets of plasma blast their way through the active region's coronal loops and out into space.
