| Hello, all Yoshimura has submitted an XPOW called: "Candle flame on the Sun (movie)" "A small flare (X-ray class : B1.2) occurred around 2:00 UT on 7-Jan-2008 at the first 24th cycle sunspot. XRT observed a candle-flame shape structure there. The structure indicates that magnetic reconnection was ongoing above the cusp shape. Since it lasted longer than 8 hours, we can guess that magnetic reconnection also kept working for a long time.
