Coronal Jets and Wisps

The 2-day celebration began on the first day of the new year with several X-ray jets and bright loop activations all over the Sun. Along the northern border
of the dark coronal hole, a bright region of magnetic flux emerges and a brilliant X-ray cusp forms off the east limb. The celebration ends with wisps of X-rays blazing high in the
solar corona.
